Queens Park Rangers 1 - 1 West Bromwich Albion

Queens Park Rangers went ahead in the first half but were pegged back by West Bromwich Albion in the second half. The home side squandered chances to extend their lead before the equaliser went in and the Baggies made them pay.
It was Heidar Helguson who opened the scoring on 20 minutes. Luke Young stood the ball up to the back post for the Icelandic forward who steered a looping header back across Ben Foster and into the top corner.
Shaun Wright-Phillips put the ball in the net again four minutes later as he raced in behind and thumped into the top corner but the goal was wrongly disallowed for offside.
Five minutes after the break Helguson fed Joey Barton in on goal. The QPR skipper tried to fire the ball past the advancing Ben Foster but sliced it wide of the mark.
The equaliser came ten minutes from time as substitute Peter Odemwingie centred for Shane Long who made no mistake from close range.
